Dear Brother Don

One of our Pastor and dear friend DB Rai in Gaighat area in the east have went to be with the Lord this night. He was right hand in my ministry, served the Lord without profit. We have been planning together for big soccer tournament for evangelistic purpose and Crusade in December. We need your prayer that the Lord's work continue no matter what happens.

I am flying there today. Please pray for bereaved family. He has his wife and one son and one daughter.

I will write more, later.

B'ANN WROTE:

We share in your sorrow at separation because we have had two members of our immediate family go to be with the Lord, also.  Our thirty year old daughter, Maura Lynn, passed in February and our oldest brother, John Wesley, Jr. passed in April. We know they are in a better place, but we were not ready for them to leave.  God knows best!!! This is sad for us in the flesh for we loved them dearly. We will pray that someone with his dedication steps into the spot and carries on the work.  We are confident in the following Scripture but we do love the earth that God made and want to be left here as long as possible to share Christ's love.

2 Corinthians 5
   1For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
   2For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
   3If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
   4For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
   5Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
   6Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
   7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
   8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

It has brought much warmth to my heart in receiving your email response today, thank you brother and may god richly bless and your household. The church family here is doing fine and they are all praying for you and the church. I am sorry that you are unable to make it to our country due to much of work, surly I  thank God for your prayers are helping us much. I am sure God is doing to provide His own appointed time for your trip to Kenya as there is much work for you to come and shared with us. On behalf of the church, I send their Christian greetings and they are requesting that you be praying for their need of bibles as our God will provide according to His riches in Christ Jesus. Lift me in your regular prayers for God to heel our needs.

You write of needing Bibles.  If you do not have one, print the Scriptures from the free websites on the web.  www.pocketpower.org/0602 gives out little booklet of the Bible.  Others have websites for printing Scriptures for Bible study.  www.biblegateway.com  and www.IBSDirect.com are available.  We have links on our website that did work.  However, we have had to change our server and not all links work as they should. http://bibleresources.bible.com is another for research. I use these because I can write on them as I study. I am pleading the Blood of Jesus over you as a constant protection as you fight the powers of darkness.
