PASTOR PERFECTO WROTE:
Question-Comment:
Dear Brother,
Thank you of your letter, We would like to affiliate to your group were only
20 pastors would like to affiliate to your ministry,
WE are waiting of your soon reply, OK Thank you ,
Yours in Gods Ministry,
Pastor Perfecto Mumar
DON WROTE:
Hello Pastor Perfecto, Consider
the following Scriptures:
Romans 12:
4For as we have many members in one body, and all members
have not the same office:
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one
members one of another.
I Corinthians 12:
12For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the
members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body,
whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have
been all made to drink into one Spirit.
14For the body is not one member, but many.
...
20But now are they many members, yet but one body.
Galatians 3
27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ
have put on Christ.
28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond
nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ
Jesus.
As we see from the Scriptures, in the critical sense, we are as
"affiliated" as we can get. However, If you are suggesting that we
become affiliated in the sense of the "church affiliations" in the US, then
let me explain why I have a problem with such affiliations.
Apparently, it is in the nature of man to want to affiliate. Consider
the tower of Babel. God had told the people to scatter and repopulate
the earth for Him. They chose instead to affiliate and build their own
way to heaven--in their case it was a "tower." For the church
affiliations in our age, men applied reasoning and decided they could be
more effective if they joined forces and pooled their money and resources.
Let's consider the results.
- When men and women started pooling their money and resources, they
found that they had clout; because in this world, money is power. As
a result, they developed their denominations and became more and more
dependent upon themselves and their organizations and less and less
dependent upon God. This eventually led to the "social gospel" which
allowed them to keep "busy" and use their money and power to put "band
aids" over the social ills (sins) around them. This is directly
opposed to the preaching of the Cross of Christ which converts men and women
and eliminates the social ills (sins) by making men and women into "new
creatures" in Christ Jesus.
- Headstrong, charismatic men saw what the denominations were doing and
set about building their own organizations to promote their own dogma,
beliefs, agendas, etc. This resulted in more denominations even
further away from Biblical principles as well as cults which ignore and/or
fragrantly twist the guidelines laid down in the Scriptures.
- As the organizations grew further and further from the truths of the
Bible, instead of becoming the powerful Body of Christ fulfilling its
mission to evangelize the world, they became religious organizations.
And because "religion" is probably the worst of all evils (Most of the
wars among men have been caused by religion, and religion even had the Son
of God Himself crucified when He visited His Creation.), these
organizations became instruments of confusion and grief rather than a
conduit for the "peace of God which passeth understanding."
- The US, rather than being the "light to the world" that it was
intended to be, has been the seed bed for so many denominations and cults.
Also, rather than being the world's champion of the Gospel, it has become
known as the great exporter of pornography. And inside its borders, it has
become economically dangerous to witness for Christ in the work place and
against the law to recognize God's influence on our culture. In
fact, the Gideon's (an organization that was once known for its placing of
free Bibles in our society) are limited more and more as to where they can
place their free Bibles, being denied motels and hospitals and the like by
new laws and decrees by ungodly legislatures and judges.
Please understand that you already have the greatest affiliation
possible in that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghosts and you are
one with Christ Jesus in your spirit. Go with God and grieve not His
Holy Spirit and you will be amazed what God can do. Thanks for
WRAPPING

How about sending us some photos so our visitors can who they are praying

When I received your WRAP,
I noticed your name "Creepy Willie," and I wondered if you were "putting me
on" (that is, making fun of me). Perhaps a verse of Scripture might
apply here:
2 Corinthians 5
17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old
things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by
Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
Perhaps you might pray about adopting a new name like "Blessed Willie,"
or "Converted Willie," or maybe "Willie--saved by Grace"--Sarfo. That
way, every time you meet someone, your name would let them know that you are
a Christian--and if they ask you about your unique, new name, you have
opportunity to tell them how Jesus made you to be a new creation in Him.
There is Scripture for this. God changed Abram's name to Abraham which
means "the father of many nations"--even though he and Sarah
couldn't have any children. Consequently, every time he
introduced himself, people would have to wonder, "Oh, where are your
children?" If they asked him about his children, then he opportunity
to tell them about God and His promise to him.
