So, to be overcomers in Christ we must walk the walk of faith; and to be successful in this, we must lay aside the sin in our lives that grieves the Holy Spirit. This is nothing new, for King David realize that he had to do the same in his day and the following passage shows how He set about to achieved this.

Psalms 119:
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned
thy righteous judgments.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto
according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from
thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

In a perfect world the ideal would be for every person to not only have the Bible in hand but hidden in the heart, as well. However, we do not live in a perfect world; so, let's consider where we are. Obviously, you can visit our site; so, let me suggest that you point out to your congregation how that David memorized the Scriptures--then visit our site and make copies from the Gospel of John for them to memorize. It is always fun to do things with others, so let them challenge one another and help one another in the endeavor. I'm putting your WRAP up on the web so that the Church can be aware of your need. But remember, even if your congregation all had a Bible, they would still need to hide God's Word in their heart. In fact, memorization of the sincere Milk of the Word is an excellent place for all of God's children to begin their Bible study; for the Bible is the Sword of the Spirit and the weapon that we must have if we are to stand against the enemy of our soul.

I am taking the liberty to write my comments at the beginning. First of all, "it is not hard to see dirt if you are always looking down." Even God gave Abraham the privilege of looking for "some good men" when they were considering the plight of Sodom and Gomorrah.

Gen. 18:
20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;
21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.
22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.
23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

You are putting everyone in the United States into one "bad porridge" pot. This you cannot do. My first impression was to get you a big basket of stones to throw. When I get up in the morning, I look at the world around me. The tiny little wild flowers that grew in the lawn during the night, the air washed with dew, and the sun rising to start a new day. I teach school and I tell my students that they were "born to become the most they can be." You need a goal that is full of hope. I see the "sores" on the body of our nation but I am wise enough to know that there is a functioning body that is fighting the impurities that caused the "infection." If the body was not fighting the infection, then there would be no outward signs for you to observe. Be assured that there is a true Body of Christ, alive and well on this planet earth. I can recall when an author wrote Satan, Alive and Well on the Planet Earth. This swept our nation and was a number one seller. He could have spent his time writing a book called Christ, Alive and Well on the Planet Earth. I will let you decide who his book glorified. However, we can only write about something with which we are familiar.

You have lost your joy. If you have lost this; then you have no strength. It is no wonder you are filled with such despair when looking at our nation. Who has stolen your joy??? Who is in control???

We are told in the Scriptures that when Christ returns again it will be because of the great "falling away" (II Thes. 2:3). Do you see this happening??? Is this why you write as you do??? Then you need to read further and learn that He told us to rejoice during this time. (I Peter 4:13; Philippians 4:4).

Sometimes when we start out to teach other, we need to be taught. You are basing your interpretation of life in the U.S. on the news media. Remember, they are not allowed to mix religion into their broadcasts. So, we can start by assuming that the "news" we hear on radio/TV is devoid of any Christian context. Why then would you be basing your whole concept of the church/U.S./Christians upon what is published in a non-Christian atmosphere??? You need to take time to read the Word of God and get to know Him as your News Commentator. He alone knows the truth. He alone can give you His judgment of the present Christian world. He alone can give you peace in the midst of the storm.

I said peace, not complacency. We have never taken money on our website. We are able to work and support ourselves. We do not want people to give to us. We want them to give to each other. Simple acts of giving can change the world. Mow a lawn, bake a cake, visit the elderly and infirmed, share a tool, hammer a nail, baby sit for a burdened mother, help someone clean their house. Above all, witness the simplicity of the Virgin Birth and John 3:16. If you are not passing out tracts that have the message of John 3:16; then, you have no right to write a message of condemnation about America.

It would seem that you misunderstood the message on our site about "free Bibles" As I mentioned to Bro Kiran in the first WRAP, we have a link on our site that can be used for finding any Scripture about any topic. I would suggest that you invest money into a good computer and a LCD projector system. Then, you can project the Scriptures onto a screen or white wall and teach any Bible verses you want. People that have access to a computer are without excuse when it comes to teaching the Scriptures. They are published on the world-wide web and can be used for teaching purposes at any time. Don’t let the fact that there is not a Bible around stop you from sharing the Scriptures. You wrote that you are waiting for feedback from us and this is what I sincerely feel is for you. May you grow and abound in the Saving Knowledge and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
